Visualizer for TIDAL
Does TIDAL have a visualizer on Mac?
Not that we could find: TIDAL's support pages describe its Mac app and its web player, and neither mentions a visualiser. To get visuals that follow TIDAL on a Mac, use an app that listens to the Mac's sound rather than to TIDAL itself. Vibresia, which we make, does that for free, with the Mac app or the browser.

TIDAL on a Mac
TIDAL has a desktop app for the Mac and a web player that runs in the usual browsers. Whichever you use, the sound goes out through the Mac, and that's where a visualiser that hears system audio picks it up.
That matters more for TIDAL than for most services, because people choose it for sound quality. Vibresia only listens: it doesn't sit in the path between TIDAL and your speakers, so it doesn't touch what you hear.
How to get visuals for TIDAL on a Mac
Vibresia is a free Mac app that listens to the Mac's system audio, so it doesn't need TIDAL to support it. Install it, allow it to hear system audio the first time it asks, and play something in TIDAL. The visuals follow the music straight away: it picks out the beat, the bass, mids and treble and the tempo on the Mac, and nothing is uploaded.
It has 18 built-in scenes, and Auto Scan moves between them on the beat. If you want something of your own, a scene is a single GLSL function, or you can describe one to an AI assistant and have it written for you. It needs macOS 14.2 or later, Apple silicon.
Why system audio is the way to do it
A visualiser built into one music app only sees that app. Apple's own visualiser is a good example: it only works with songs playing in the Music app. Listening to the Mac's system audio instead means one visualiser works with TIDAL, with every other music app, with a browser tab and with a film, and keeps going when you switch between them.
Questions people ask
Does TIDAL have a visualizer?
Not one we could find in TIDAL's Mac app or web player. A Mac app that hears system audio, such as Vibresia, gives you visuals that follow TIDAL.
Does Vibresia change how TIDAL sounds?
No. Vibresia only listens to the Mac's system audio; it doesn't process or route the sound you hear.
Is Vibresia free?
Yes. Every feature is free, with no account and no trial, and the code is open source under the MIT licence.
